It's the Island of Inisfallen, reachable by hiring a boat to row on your own or a boatman to take you there. Boatman charge around 8 euros for crossing the Lough Leane, but they are gorgeous and muscular :) don't work if husband's around! The documents are now held in Bodleian Library at Oxford and reveal all the secrets of early Irish history...
