Glenveagh National Park

Posted 1 year ago by jiro in response to avatar kheng's question: is it worth to drive for 5 hours to visit Glenveagh National Park? my wife has a crush on natural untouched grounds (give a different answer) .

I didn't see it myself, but the way my brother put it, it's nice, especially due to the flowers brought from Chile, Tasmania, the Far East and the Himalayas. He told me about a castle as well, Glenveagh castle open for visits from mid-March to November. Entrance is 2$, the park has no tax, but take care car traffic is forbidden inside.
