You've heard about the Monument of Light, I see, or "The Spire", as it's widely known...I have to admit I bursted into laughs as well when I've seen the 120m knitting needle in O'Conell Street, with the tiny 15 cm tip glowing like an alien aircraft. It's actually a 2003 monument dedicated to the most insignifiant export issue, the Aran sweater...Bow to the pullover, boys!
