I'm used to spending Friday nights in the Opera. Does Cork have a brimming cultural life?(give a different answer) .
Cork Opera House has experienced it all...Either you are a conservative spectator or a spicy-lover one, you'll find a performance to satisfy you at the Opera. Carmen is one of the traditional recipes, but they also played Vagina Monologues, stand-up comedy. Behind the opera, in the same Emmet Pl., there's the Half Moon Theatre, bringing live bands and soulful DJ's.
