Tell me a good route to take when crossing Connemara national park, I like to explore the wild...(give a different answer) .
The National Park Visitor Center must give better advice, so call them at 353-95-41054. When I visited it some years ago, I drove up the Sky Road, a steep one-way drive, full of twists and turns, enabling you to see the Twelve Bens, peaks as high as 2,300 feet. You'll cross grasslands, and, if lucky, get to see a Connemara pony or red deer. Gates are open from Easter to October.
